The Excluded products list lets you treat particular products differently from the rest of your range. You can stop credit being spent on excluded products, stop customers earning loyalty credit on excluded products, or both.
For example, most of your wines sell for around $40, but you have one $500 bottle. You might not want customers spending credit on the $500 bottle, or earning loyalty credit when they buy it.
What the Excluded products list is
Excluded products is a product list that WithWine creates for you. WithWine uses the Excluded products list to mark products that should be treated differently for credit: not counted when customers earn loyalty credit, and not available to spend credit on.
Step 1: Add products to the Excluded products list
Go to Settings > Loyalty & Credit.
In the Credit Classes section, select Edit List next to Excluded products. The edit page for the Excluded Products list opens.
Under Select Products, make sure Selection method is set to Manually add or remove products.
Find the product in the All products column. To search, type the product name in the Filter products... box.
Select the plus icon next to the product. The product moves to the column on the right, which shows the products on the list.
Repeat for each product you want to exclude. To add every product, select Add All. To take every product off the list, select Remove All.
Select Save.
Step 2: Stop credit being spent on excluded products
Go to Settings > Loyalty & Credit.
In the Credit Classes table, select Edit next to a credit class.
Untick Excluded products.
Select Save.
Repeat for every credit class whose credit shouldn't be spent on excluded products.
Step 3: Stop loyalty credit being earned on excluded products
Go to Settings > Loyalty & Credit.
In the Loyalty Program section, under Credit can be earned on, make sure Excluded products is unticked.
Select Save.
What happens next
Credit in a credit class with Excluded products unticked can't be spent on excluded products.
When Excluded products is unticked in the loyalty program, excluded products don't earn loyalty credit and don't count toward a loyalty program tier.
