Connecting Australia Post lets you buy Australia Post shipping labels from your orders in WithWine. You need an Australia Post eParcel (or StarTrack) contract and access to Australia Post's Shipping and Tracking API.
You can connect Australia Post and Aramex at the same time, then choose which carrier to use on each order.
Before you start
You need an Australia Post eParcel or StarTrack contract account.
Have the address where the courier will collect your orders.
Step 1: Get your Australia Post API details
Go to developers.auspost.com.au.
Log in with your eParcel account details.
Request access to the Shipping and Tracking API.
Wait for Australia Post to approve your request and send your API details (your account number, API key and password).
Step 2: Add Australia Post in WithWine
Go to Settings > My Brand > Shipping.
Scroll down to Shipping Providers and click Add Shipping Provider.
In Carrier, choose Australia Post.
Enter your Account Number, API Key and Password from Australia Post. Copy and paste them so there are no typos or extra spaces.
In Label Layout, choose A6 (the default) or A4 to match your label printer paper.
Under Pickup Address, enter the address where orders will be collected. Street, Zip / Postcode and Country are required.
Check Display name. This is the name shown in WithWine. It starts as Australia Post.
If you print on plain (unbranded) labels, tick Print carrier branding to add Australia Post branding to your labels.
Click Save.
What happens next
Australia Post appears under Shipping Providers, and you can choose it when you buy shipping labels for an order.
Troubleshooting
I can't find the Shipping and Tracking API. Make sure you're logged in at developers.auspost.com.au. Access is only available to eParcel and StarTrack contract customers.
My details aren't accepted. Check you copied the account number, API key and password exactly, with no spaces at the start or end.
