WithWine accounts get daily Stripe payouts, with a 2 business day delay. If a payout you expected hasn't arrived, check these reasons in order.
1. The payout isn't due yet
Payouts arrive 2 business days after the payment. Weekends and public holidays aren't business days, so a payment taken on a Friday, or just before a public holiday, takes longer to arrive. See When will I get paid by Stripe?.
2. A refund used up your payout
When you refund an order, Stripe takes the refund from your Stripe balance. If you refund more than you've taken in recently, for example refunding a large order from weeks ago on a quiet day, your Stripe balance can go below zero.
When your Stripe balance is below zero:
The money you would have been paid out is used to cover the refund first.
New payments go towards bringing your Stripe balance back above zero.
Payouts start again automatically once your Stripe balance is back above the minimum payout amount.
Your WithWine reports still show the sales, but the money from those sales has gone to the customer's refund, not to your bank account.
3. Your balance is below the minimum payout amount
Stripe doesn't send a payout when your available balance is below the minimum payout amount. The money stays in your Stripe balance and is paid out with a later payout once the balance is higher.
4. Your Stripe account needs attention
Stripe pauses payouts if your company verification isn't complete or your bank details need updating. See How to verify your company with Stripe.
If you still haven't received a payout
You can't log in to Stripe to check your balance, because WithWine manages your Stripe account for you. Contact WithWine support and tell us the date and amount of the payout you expected, and we'll check your Stripe balance and payouts. See Why can't I log in to my Stripe account?.
