WithWine uses Stripe to process your payments. Stripe pays out your money to your bank account every day, two business days after each payment is made.
How payout timing works
Stripe pays out daily, and each payout contains the payments made two business days earlier. Business days are Monday to Friday, not counting public holidays.
Payments made on a Monday are paid out on Wednesday.
Payments made on a Thursday are paid out on Monday.
Payments made on a Friday are paid out on Tuesday.
Payments made on a Saturday or Sunday are counted from Monday, so they're paid out on Wednesday.
Public holidays delay payouts
A public holiday isn't a business day, so it adds a day to the wait. For example, if Monday is a public holiday, payments made on the Friday before are paid out on Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
After Stripe sends a payout, most banks show the money straight away, but some banks take longer to make it available.
Where this applies
This 2 business day timing applies to WithWine accounts in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Singapore. Public holidays are the ones in your country. For full details, see Stripe's payouts documentation.
Daily payouts are the default
All WithWine accounts are set to daily payouts by default. Each payout includes the payments from 2 business days earlier.
If your balance is small or negative
Stripe only sends a payout when your available Stripe balance is above the minimum payout amount. If your balance is below the minimum, or below zero after a refund, Stripe holds the money until your balance is high enough. See Why didn't I receive a payout?.
