What is a range?

A range groups your wines into a sub-brand or a series you release every year, such as a Single Vineyard range.

A range is a group of wines that belong together, such as a sub-brand or a series of wines you release every year. For example, a winery might have a Single Vineyard range and an Estate range, and release new wines in each range every vintage.

How wineries use ranges

  • Sub-brands: wines you sell under a different label or brand name.

  • Series: a set of wines that's consistent year on year, such as a Single Vineyard range or an Estate range.

A wine can be in only one range

Each wine can belong to one range at a time. You choose a wine's range on the wine's settings page. See How to add a wine to a range.

How ranges differ from product lists

A wine can be in many product lists at the same time, but in only one range. Use a range for the one group a wine belongs to, such as its sub-brand or series. Use product lists for everything else, such as website sections and featured wines.

Where customers see ranges

Customers can see your ranges on your website, if your website is set up to show them.
