How to offer a 6-bottle price

Add a quantity price so customers pay less per bottle when they buy 6 (or any number) of your wines.

You can give customers a lower price when they buy more bottles. You add a quantity price as an extra row in the wine's Available Prices.

Choose the type of quantity price

  • Each in any 6: a lower price per bottle when the cart has any 6 bottles, including other wines and mixes. For example, $40 each in any 6.

  • For 6 of this product: one price for a straight 6 of this wine. For example, $195 for 6.

The labels change with the quantity you enter. For 12 bottles, they become Each in any 12 and For 12 of this product.

Add a 6-bottle price

  1. Go to Settings > Products > Bottles.

  2. Click the wine's name.

  3. Under Pricing, check List your wine for sale? is Yes.

  4. Under Available Prices, click Add Price. A new row appears.

  5. Leave Customer Group as All Customers.

  6. In Quantity Required, type 6.

  7. In Price, type the price, for example 40 (per bottle) or 195 (for the 6).

  8. In Price Type, choose Each in any 6 or For 6 of this product.

  9. Click Save.

What happens next

  • With Each in any 6, once the cart has 6 bottles, the lower price applies to every bottle of this wine, including any extra bottles.

  • If a customer qualifies for more than one price, WithWine charges the lowest.

  • To remove the quantity price, click the bin icon under Delete on its row, then click Save.
