How to add a stock location

Add a new stock location, such as a warehouse, so you can keep track of stock held in different places.

Add a stock location for each place you keep stock, such as a warehouse or offsite storage. Every brand already has a Default Stock Location.

Add a stock location

  1. Go to Settings > Stock Locations.

  2. Click + Add Stock Location.

  3. In Name, type a name for the stock location, for example Warehouse. Name is required.

  4. Choose what this stock location supplies (all optional):

    • Tick eCommerce Orders to take website orders from this stock location. This moves website orders away from the stock location that currently has it.

    • Tick Club Run Orders to take club runs from this stock location. This moves club runs away from the stock location that currently has it.

    • Tick POS Delivery Orders to take POS orders with a delivery address from this stock location.

  5. Choose eCommerce Out of Stock Behaviour and POS Out of Stock Behaviour: Dont sell (the default for new stock locations) or Back order.

  6. If you like, enter an Out of Stock Message and a Display Quantity Left At number for your website.

  7. Click Save.

What happens next

The new stock location appears in the list on the Stock Locations page. To use it for POS sales, link it to a venue in Settings > Venues.

Troubleshooting

My website or club runs are now using the wrong stock. Only one stock location can have eCommerce Orders or Club Run Orders ticked. Ticking it on a new stock location moves it from the old one. Click the stock location you want to use, tick the option again, and click Save.
