The BBPOS WisePOS E is a smart card reader with its own touchscreen, for use on the counter or in your hand. It connects to the internet over Wi-Fi, or Ethernet with the optional dock.

Wi-Fi requirements
The WisePOS E needs a password-protected Wi-Fi network using WPA-Personal or WPA2-Personal. It doesn't work on open networks, enterprise networks or IPv6 networks. The reader and the iPad or iPhone running Vintner must be on the same network. See Stripe's network requirements.
Accessories
Ethernet dock: gives the reader a wired 10/100 Ethernet connection, keeps it charged, and has rubber feet for stable countertop use. When the reader is docked with an Ethernet cable connected, it uses Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi.
